The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially launched the second round of postgraduate (PG) medical admissions for NEET PG 2024. A total of 31,490 candidates have been allotted seats in this crucial stage, marking a significant milestone in the admission process for medical aspirants.

Candidates who have been successfully allotted seats in Round 2 are now required to complete the next steps in the admission procedure. They must report to their designated medical institutes between December 13 and December 20, 2024, to undergo document verification and final admission formalities. Failure to complete these steps within the stipulated timeline may result in the forfeiture of their allotted seats.

In Imphal, Manipur, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) has issued a dedicated circular providing further instructions regarding the second round of PG counselling. This process pertains to admissions for RIMS and includes crucial guidelines, which can be accessed on the institute’s official website.

For all candidates participating in this round, it is essential to ensure compliance with the necessary eligibility criteria and submission of relevant documents, such as NEET PG scorecards, caste certificates, and identity proof. The admission process for this round is expected to wrap up by December 20, 2024, marking the end of the second phase of counselling for NEET PG.

Candidates who are not allotted seats in this round may still have the chance to participate in the mop-up round, which will be held at a later date.

The admission process is expected to continue until all seats are filled, and aspiring PG medical students are encouraged to stay up to date with official notifications for further rounds of counselling and seat allotment.

For further updates and detailed instructions, candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites of MCC and their respective institutes.
